BeatYourArtOut 25th October at the Pack Horse

Established in 2004, and born out of frustration and an enthusiasm for music, film, theatre and art, this night is designed with the idea of giving the opportunity to and combining diverse talent from musicians, artists, writers and film-makers to produce a eclectic musical and artistic experience for all involved….
Ordinarily held in the dingy downstairs darkness of a Manchester bar, featuring the best in unsigned bands, classical music, cake, dj-ing and a varied film program, this event sees the chance for Beatyourheartout to show a selection of new films and showcase local Manchester musicians, as part of the Levfest, Manchester.

Wednesday, 25th October 7.45-12pm The Packhorse, Levenshulme,
Beatyourheartout….designed once again for you to meet like minded folks, to bring music to your ears and laughter to your lips, with cake for good measure.

With music from:
Liz Green www.myspace.com/lizgreenmusic
A 21st Century Judy Garland meets the narrative genius of Nina Simone, with unique sounding voice and lyrics that draw you into Liz’s world.

Ste McCabe www.myspace.com/stemccabe
Sarcastic in-yer-face cynical, witty, punk pop from a gay scouser with a chip on his shoulder, and a drum machine by his side. Think Sid Vicious joins forces with Le Tigre and Sleater Kinney.

SoPhIeS pIgEoNs www.myspace.com/sophienelson
Armed with glockenspiel, melodeon, harmonium, violin, keyboard and vocals, SoPhIeS pIgEoNs take you on a delightful melodic journey, showing fleeting glimpses of Fiona Apple and Tori Amos, with a charm of their own. You’ll be flocking to see them.

With a selection of short films, music videos and animations from new, up-coming filmmakers, established film makers and Beatyourheartout veterans.

LEVFEST www.levenshulmefestival.co.uk
For ten days a year in October multi-cultural Levenshulme comes alive with music, singing, dancing, food, arts, sport, comedy and much, much more during the annual Levenshulme Festival.
This is the 7th Levenshulme Village Community Festival and it goes from strength to strength. It is now firmly established as one of the biggest community events in Europe.

We hope to see you there.
